Greetings from Senshu University in Tokyo, Japan!

It is our great pleasure to inform you of the Exchange Program in Cooperation with the 2024 Japanese Government Scholarship Program (MEXT Scholarship Program).

This program’s contents is that participants must first receive a scholarship offered through MEXT (Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) applicable to graduate level research. This notification is specifically regarding information for Research Students (Graduate Level). The nominated candidate (henceforth referred to as the “applicant”) must be of high academic standing at your university/institution and screened by Senshu University.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the condition specified in The Application Guidelines by MEXT

Applicants must be accepted by Senshu University under a student exchange agreement

Applicants should have clear study plans related to a field of study available at Senshu University. These study plans must include how the applicant will benefit from their time studying in Japan. For more details, please refer the online syllabus (Japanese version only)

Applicants must intend to enter a regular course of study at Senshu University and take the entrance examination for a graduate school (master’s or doctoral program) while enrolled as an exchange student at Senshu University.

Conditions:

1. If the applicant fails to receive the MEXT scholarship, Senshu University is unable to provide any financial aid in its place.

2. The applicant is not eligible to apply for this scholarship program if they have been receiving an award and/or applied for another scholarship program for 2024 from MEXT or the Japan Student Services Organization(JASSO).
