We are excited to announce the opportunity for nominations to participate in the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien or WU) Exchange Program. This program offers a unique chance for students to broaden their horizons, immerse themselves in a new culture, and gain valuable academic and personal experiences.

As a participant in this exchange program, you will have access to a wide range of courses taught in English, covering various disciplines such as business, economics, finance, international relations, and more.

The nomination portal for the the winter semester 2024/2025 (fall term: October – January) will be open until May 1, 2024. Interested students must be nominated by their home institution.

– For the winter semester: May 1

– For the summer semester: November 1

Application deadlines for students:

– Winter semester: May 20

– Summer semester: November 20

Language requirements:

– Bachelor exchange students: B2 level or above (according to CEFR) in English or German

– Master and PhD exchange students: Level equivalent to C1 of the CEFR.

Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines

Living costs:

– Housing│approx. € 450–650 /month

– Health Insurance│approx. € 70 /month

– Students must buy health insurance that covers theirwhole stay at WU, no health insurance plan is offered by WU

– Food│ approx. € 350 /month

– Studies & Personal rquirements│approx. € 400/month

– Students’ Union dues│approx. € 23 / semester
